Background

In 2001, he graduated from the Ural State Forestry Academy and entered graduate school in the same year. In 2003, he was hired as an assistant at the Department of Mechanical Wood Processing. In 2004 he defended his PhD thesis. Since 2005, he has been promoted to the position of Associate professor of the Department of Mechanical Wood Processing, concurrently Deputy Dean for scientific work. In 2017, he defended his doctoral thesis. In 2018, he was transferred to the position of professor of the department, and in 2019 he was appointed to the position of Vice-rector for Research at UGSTU. In March 2021, he was transferred to the position of advisor to the Rector's Office. In November 2021, he was elected head of the Department of Mechanical Wood Processing.
