
Faith Galishnikova
Background
He is the vice-rector of Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (MGSU), Professor, Doctor of Technical Sciences.
In 1982, she graduated with honors from the Saratov Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Industrial and Civil Engineering from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, qualified as a Civil Engineer.
In 1987-1990, she studied at the full-time postgraduate school of the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering (MISI-MGSU), where in 1991 she defended her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Sciences in the specialty "Construction Mechanics".
In 1998, she received the title of associate professor. In 1999, she entered the full-time doctoral program at the Volgograd State Academy of Architecture and Civil Engineering. During her studies, she completed an internship and then a doctoral program at the University of Michigan, USA, where she defended her dissertation and received her Ph.D. in civil engineering in 2004.
In 2015, she defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in the specialty "Construction Mechanics".
Research area: Development of methods for calculating spatial core systems: mesh shells, spatial frames and trusses, core structural plates; theoretical foundations for constructing three-dimensional models of objects; design and development of methods for calculating structures made of new composite materials.
