During this time, Ruslan Gabdrakhmanov actively participated in shaping the Strategy of Yekaterinburg's Spatial Development. Since June 2021, on behalf of Alexei Orlov, the Moscow State University of Economics has begun developing the Master Plan of the Ural capital for the period from 2025 to 2045, an urban planning document defining the goals and objectives of the metropolis for the next 20 years. The specialist also made adjustments to the Yekaterinburg Master Plan until 2025 in accordance with the development vector chosen for the more up-to-date version of the document.
