Alexander The butler
Background
In 1971 he graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of Donetsk Polytechnic Institute. In 1978, he defended his PhD thesis "Geometric investigation of the reflective properties of surfaces in relation to solving acoustic problems in entertainment rooms." In 2001, he defended his doctoral thesis "Geometric modeling of reflected energy flows in solar engineering."
For ten years he was an assistant at the Department of Descriptive Geometry at Donetsk Polytechnic Institute, from 1981 he was an associate professor, and from 1982 to 1989 he was Deputy Director of the Simferopol branch of the Dnepropetrovsk Civil Engineering Institute for academic affairs. Then he taught at the Mbeya Technical College (Tanzania) and in 1991 took up the position of associate professor.
From 2002 to the present, he has been the Head of the Department of Geometric and Computer Modeling of Energy-efficient Buildings at the Academy of Construction and Architecture of the Vernadsky KFU.
Under the supervision of A. T. Dvoretsky, five dissertations were defended for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences.
He is the founder of the scientific school in two areas: "Geometric modeling of reflective properties of surfaces" and "Methodology for the study of energy-efficient buildings with passive solar heating and cooling".
