Among the most significant research projects:

  • Geotechnical analysis of the stability of historical structures (1998, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Education);
  • Stability analysis in seismic areas: geological and geotechnical characteristics of natural slopes (2005).

Today, Diego Lo Presti is a member of the working group on seismic microdistricting under the Government of Italy, as well as many other technical organizations and councils.
