
Craig Gibbons

PhD, in Structural Engineering, University of Sheffield, UK.
Dr. Gibbons was the project manager and was responsible for the design and construction of a large number of prestigious structures in the Middle East, Hong Kong, China and Korea. These include the award-winning Cheongkhon Center, a 63-storey 420-meter skyscraper in Hong Kong, where the International Financial Center is located, as well as the unique Central Television building in Beijing.
He also led a number of projects where the Arup association was assigned the role of a leading consultant with the implementation of multifaceted functions, which include the Airport and multi-purpose landmark structures. Dr. Gibbons is the author of more than 40 articles on industrial design, including high–rise construction, and principles of architectural and construction solutions. He has been invited to speak at many conferences around the world.
