Alexander Chernov

Background

He graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages. Maurice Thorez, translator-assistant in Spanish and English, specialty "Foreign languages".

After graduating from the institute, he worked for TASS for almost ten years. Six of them have been in Latin America.

From 1995 to 2000 - Director of the External Relations Department of Coca-Cola Eurasia.

Participated in major sports projects. Among them: Moscow's nomination for the Youth and Summer Olympic Games in 2010 and 2012, Sochi's nomination for the Winter Olympic Games (Sochi 2014), Russia's nomination for the right to host the 2018 FIFA World Cup.

Since 2011, he has been working at the Skolkovo Foundation, and since 2015, he has been Senior Vice President for External Communications and Advertising.

From 2017 to 2018, he headed the ANO "EXPO-2025 Bid Committee"

Since 2019, he has been the General Director of the Executive Directorate of Universiade 2023.
