In the period from 2009 to 2021, he participated in more than 20 major research projects, including 12 as a supervisor. Teams of specialists led by P.D. Chelyshkov have completed a number of research projects supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, developed JV 301.1325800.2017, JV 333.1325800.2020, JV 328.1325800.2020.
He is the recipient of a Grant from the President of the Russian Federation for young scientists, Doctors of sciences, on the topic "Development of a methodology for optimal technological support of digitalization processes in the construction complex."
He has more than 100 publications (including 3 monographs and 4 manuals), more than 70 Patents and certificates for inventions, utility models, industrial designs and computer programs. Participated in 23 conferences (including 20 international ones).
He is a member of the scientific school "System Engineering of Construction. Cyber-physical building systems".
He is an expert of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
He is a laureate of the Government of the Russian Federation in the field of science and technology (2017) and in the field of education (2018).
He is an expert of the Technical Committee of Rosstandart No. 465 "Construction", the Technical Committee of Rosstandart No. 505 "Information Modeling" and the Technical Committee of Rosstandart No. 700 "Mathematical Modeling and high-performance computing Technologies".
