Background

Natalia Vladimirovna Bystryantseva - PhD in Architecture, Head of the creative association of lighting designers RULD, the Higher School of Lighting Design and the international Laboratory of Lighting Design of the urban environment at ITMO University.

She graduated from SSTU with a degree in architecture and design. She defended her PhD thesis at MARCHI, Department of Architectural Environment Design.

Candidate of Architectural Sciences, head of the creative association of lighting designers RULD, the Graduate School of Lighting Design and the international Laboratory of Lighting Design of the urban environment at ITMO University.

Member of the international award in the field of lighting design LIT AWARDS (Los Angeles, USA), winner of the Moscow Government Prize in Literature and art in 2014 in the nomination "Architecture and Design". Over 12 years of experience in the field of urban lighting.

With her participation, the following projects have been implemented in recent years:

  • Research project "Development of a Comprehensive program for the development of St. Petersburg as a center of Russian Light culture for the period 2018-2030 with a view to 2050" (2016-2017);
  • The research project "The Formula of light. Quarters of Volkhonka" (2012-2013);
  • "Lighting concept for Novy Arbat and Kutuzovsky Prospekt" (2011-2012);
  • "The concept of lighting the Olympic Park in Sochi" (2010-2011)
