Background

Since August 2001, he has been working at the Federal State Budgetary Institution VNIIPO of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, having worked his way up from a junior researcher at the Department of Fire Resistance of Building Structures and Engineering Equipment of the Scientific Research Center PB to Deputy Head of the Scientific Research Center NTP PB – Head of the Department of Fire Resistance of building structures and Engineering equipment.
He is the head of the testing laboratory of IL SIC PB accredited in accordance with the established procedure (FSA, Russian Maritime Register of Shipping, Russian Classification Society [River Register]) (the unique number of the record of accreditation in the register of accredited persons TRPB.RU.IN02). His main research interests are smoke protection of buildings and structures, fire resistance of engineering equipment.
He is one of the authors of Joint venture 7.13130.2013 "Heating, ventilation and air conditioning. Fire safety requirements", SP 60.13330.2020 "SNiP 41-01-2003. Heating, ventilation and air conditioning" as well as a number of other regulatory documents in the field of its specialization.
He is the co-author of the methodological recommendations "Calculated determination of the main parameters of smoke ventilation of buildings", published in 2013, the textbook "Prevention and extinguishing of fires in high-rise buildings and high-rise buildings with ventilated facades".
He is the chairman of PC 1 TC 274 "Fire safety", a member of TC 061 "Ventilation and air conditioning", PC 14 TC 465 "Construction".
