Background
He graduated from the Penza Civil Engineering Institute in 1970. In 1977 he completed postgraduate studies at the Moscow Civil Engineering Institute, and in 1992 he completed his doctoral studies.
Honorary Builder of the Russian Federation, Honorary Employee of the Higher School of the Russian Federation. Currently, he is a senior researcher at Penza State University of Architecture and Construction and Director of Research and Innovation at NPP Geotek LLC.
Research interests: experimental and theoretical studies of the strength and deformability of bases; development of information and measuring systems and devices for testing soils in laboratory and field conditions; numerical methods for calculating bases.
