Graduated from the Volgograd Institute of Civil Engineering (1976), Doctor of Technical Sciences (1998), Professor (2000). Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation. Advisor to the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Academician of the Russian Academy of Transport, Academician of the Academy of Transport of the Russian Federation. He is the author of more than 500 scientific papers, 7 monographs and more than 30 patents. He has trained 27 candidates and 1 Doctor of Sciences.
