
Andrey Rayevsky
Background
In 1999, he graduated from the Master's degree program of the Ural State Academy of Architecture and Art in Architecture. In 2003, after defending his PhD thesis, he continued his work at the Academy. He teaches classes in the field of Architecture in the following disciplines: "Architectural design", "Fundamentals of conceptual design" (author's lecture course), "Drawing". Head of the final qualifying works of undergraduate and graduate students in the field of Architecture. He is the organizer of competitive design at the university, exhibitions, master classes, field practices, initiator of the participation of students of the Academy in various national and international projects, which exhibit the best student works. He has more than 40 winning students in international architectural competitions.
Author of more than 30 scientific publications. Multiple diploma winner of the International Architecture and Design Competition "Eurasian Prize", as well as participant and nominee of other architectural competitions.
He has developed and teaches the discipline "Fundamentals of Conceptual Design", where current design techniques are revealed based on the semantic analysis of modern formative mechanisms.
He has been a member of the "World Council on High-Rise Buildings and the Urban Environment" of the CTBUH, (USA, Chicago) since 2010, a member of the All-Russian creative public organization "Union of Architects of Russia" since 2013.
