Background

Altan Gursel was invited to work at SHCA in 1980. Since his appointment as Director of the Department of International Development in 1992, Altan has been leading the development of projects for high-rise and low-rise buildings designed for customers from around the world.

Altan was directly involved in the establishment of the SHCA office in Turkey, which served as a starting point for the company's promotion in Russia.

Altan Gursel has extensive experience in implementing public and private sector projects. The Trump Tower (New York), the Pierre residential complex in Sarasota (Florida, USA), the 320 Park Avenue building modernization project commissioned by the Mutual of America insurance company and other projects led by Altan have received prestigious awards. Of particular importance are the projects of the Bank Towers and Tekfen Tower high-rise complexes in Istanbul, as well as the project of the 70-storey tower of the Moscow City Exhibition Center, which is under construction.

Altan, a certified architect, graduated from Yildiz Technical University (Bachelor's and Master's degrees) and the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation of Columbia University (USA) (Master's degree). Altan Gursel is accredited by the American Institute of Architects.
