
Sergei Aleynikov
Background
He graduated from the SAI with a degree in Architecture of Industrial Buildings and Structures (1974). He studied at the graduate school of the Moscow Institute of Economics (1984-1987), defended his PhD thesis (1987). He worked at the institutes PromstroyNIproekt and Sverdlovskgrazhdanproekt, where he worked his way up from an ordinary architect to a GAP. Senior Researcher at NIS SAI (1982). The main artist of the city in the GLAVAP of the Sverdlovsk City Executive Committee (1988-1991). He created a personal creative workshop, which was transformed into the design institute "Archstroyproekt-A" (1992).
According to S.V. Aleynikov's projects, dozens of large business and office buildings and residential complexes have been built in Yekaterinburg: the building of the Legislative Assembly of the Sverdlovsk Region, the Museum of the first President of the Russian Federation B.N. Yeltsin, the Demidov Recreation Center, the Clover Park Recreation Center on Tkachey Street, the Universitetskiy residential complexes, etc., which are being built on site factories of OCM, Transmash, flour mill on Chelyuskintsev St.
He has been awarded many professional awards: the medal of the Shchusev Union of Architects of the USSR, the medal of the Union of Architects (2010), the Eurasian Prize for Contribution to architecture of Yekaterinburg (2013), the prizes of the All-Russian festivals "The Hand of the Master" (2013, 2015), "The Golden Sign", "Architecture–2015", the prize named after V. N.Tatishcheva and V. G. de Gennina (2016).
