His main job over the past 20 years has been General Director of the Georeconstruction Institute (St. Petersburg), concurrently an associate professor at the St. Petersburg State University of Railway Communications.Social work — member of the City Expert Advisory Commission on Foundations, Foundations and Underground Structures under the Government of St. Petersburg, member of the Presidium of the Russian Society for Soil Mechanics, Geotechnics and Foundation Engineering, member of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnics (ISSMGE), member of the International Technical Committee TC207 "Interaction of Buildings and Foundations" ISSMGE.

He is the author of several dozen projects for the reconstruction of historical buildings, including architectural monuments, and the construction of new buildings, including unique ones.;

For the reconstruction of the Kamennoostrovsky Theater in St. Petersburg was awarded a gold medal at the international exhibition in Leipzig.;

Author of the St. Petersburg regional regulations on foundation construction, reviewer of the federal codes of regulations on foundation construction;

Co-author of numerical simulation programs for the interaction of buildings and foundations in a nonlinear three-dimensional formulation, taking into account the rheological properties of materials and soils;

Organizer and key participant of international conferences on geotechnics;

He is the author of 130 scientific publications, including 9 monographs.
