Background
A.R. Tusnin, born in 1957, graduated with honors from the Civil Engineering Faculty of the Perm Polytechnic Institute in 1980 with a degree in Industrial and Civil Engineering.
Candidate of Technical Sciences since 1990. Doctor of Technical Sciences since 2004. In 1996, he received the title of Associate Professor in the Department of Urban Construction and Architecture.
During his time in high school, he taught at Perm Polytechnic Institute, Brest State Technical University, and Moscow State University of Civil Engineering. He has consistently held the positions of assistant, senior lecturer, associate professor and professor. Since 2003, he has been teaching at MGSU and leading training courses: "Metal structures" and "Special Course on metal structure design" for students of the training area "Construction of unique buildings and structures".
Two PhD theses and one doctoral dissertation were defended under his supervision.
From 2022 to the present, he has been the head of the Department of Metal and Wooden Structures, as well as the Director of the Institute of Industrial and Civil Engineering at the National Research University MGSU.
