Background

• Since 1991, he has been working at the Scientific Research Design Institute of Concrete and Reinforced Concrete (NIIZHB), postgraduate studies, PhD thesis defense, 1996-2010 - special courses and certification courses in the interdisciplinary professional development system, accredited expert; Candidate of Sciences: 1975-76 - construction worker, carpenter, bricklayer; 1976-78 – service in the coastal units of the Navy; 1983-88 – VSHI, Department of Architecture, lecturer; since 1988 – NIIZHB, from graduate student to head of the Laboratory of Engineering methods for the study of reinforced concrete structures (since 1998); since 2004 – GASIS, Department of Monolithic housing Construction, teaching; since 1993 – expert of Rosgosexpertiza and Mosexpertiza; since 2008 – OOO "Expert Consulting Center NIIZHB", Department building structures and quality, boss.
• A.I. Sagaidak belongs to the national scientific school in the field of non-destructive quality control of buildings and structures, which was established at the National Research Institute of Nuclear Physics and Technology under the leadership of Professor V.A. Klevtsov; he is a student of well–known researchers in this field - S.I. Nogin and E.G. Nesvizh; created and heads the independent scientific and practical direction "Quality control and monitoring of construction structures using the acoustic emission (AE) method"; developed methods for assessing the stress-strain state of structures, determining the pre-destructive state of structures based on AE statistical parameters, as well as criteria for assessing the impact of defects on the bearing capacity of structures; the results of his research and development were included in the regulatory and technical documents of the construction industry (MGSN, TU, etc.); as the head of the department of a non-governmental scientific and production company, he has repeatedly implemented his ideas and developments in practice when fulfilling state and private orders for the examination of buildings and structures; teaches author's courses "Quality control of building structures", "Non-destructive methods" in the system of advanced training and postgraduate professional education (GASIS, NIIZHB, NIIMosstroy, etc.) control using AE"; is a member of the European Working Group on AE and the RILEM Technical Committee; since the late 1980s, he has been a participant and speaker (on the problem of acoustic emission) All-Union, All-Russian and international conferences of experts on non-destructive quality control;
• Publications: about 80 scientific and educational-methodical works (1984-2014), including in scientific. collections of NIIZHB, Moscow Institute of Civil Engineering (MISI), St. Petersburg Institute of Railways, etc. A.I. Sagaidak was systematically published in scientific journals in Russia and abroad; he has 15 copyright certificates and patents for inventions (1985-2010).;
• Awards: the title of "Honorary Builder of the Russian Federation" (2003), the title and badge "Veteran of Labor of NIIZHB" (2008), the medal "In memory of the 850th anniversary of Moscow" (1997), the medal named after A.A.
