Background

  • In 1977, he graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Novosibirsk Electrotechnical Institute with a special degree. "Technology of mechanical engineering, metal-cutting machines and tools". Until 1980, he worked as a design engineer at a machine tool factory.
  • He studied at the postgraduate school of the Institute of Mining of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, defended his PhD in 1984, and his doctoral thesis in 2000. Both dissertations on spec. "Mining machines" are connected to the Fans of the main ventilation of mines, mines and subways.
  • Since 1989, he has been combining his work with teaching at a technical university. He has prepared 3 candidates of sciences. In 2010, he was awarded the academic title of professor.
  • The Chinakal Institute of Mining of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences explores modern geodynamic processes caused by man-made activity, geomechanics, the theory of mining and complex processing of mineral raw materials based on resource- and energy-saving environmentally friendly technologies, mining and construction engineering.
