Alejandro Stochetti is a member of the American Institute of Architects and a LEED® accredited specialist.
Alejandro leads groups designing meaningfully placed, efficient, and user-tailored buildings. His work is characterized by the understanding and integration of all branches of knowledge to create highly efficient buildings determined by the needs of practical activities.
For Alejandro, every project begins with a deep understanding of the conditions of the construction site, the needs and other goals of the users. Based on this, the task is how to maximize the potential of the project with minimal impact on its environment.
Alejandro's recent projects at Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture include the Kingdom Tower, a building that is set to become the tallest in the world. With a height of over 1,000 meters and a total building area of 530,000 square meters (5.7 million square feet), Kingdom Tower will become the center and the first stage of construction of the Kingdom City development area on a 5.3 million square meter site north of Jeddah.
Prior to joining Adrian Smith + Gordon Gill Architecture, Alejandro was a senior designer at Skidmore Owings & Merrill, where he participated in the design and development of the Burj Khalifa Tower in Dubai, the Las Vegas Tower in Las Vegas, the Wind Tower and the Garden in the King Abdullah Economic City in Saudi Arabia, the development plan for the King Abdullah Economic City and the Suzhou Exhibition Center in China. His experience also includes working in the Middle East, Europe, Asia, North America, and his homeland of Argentina.
