Jiin-Yi Hwang is a globally recognized and award-winning architect and design director at Turenscape in Beijing, China, boasting over 25 years of distinguished experience. Her career is defined by a profound commitment to sustainable design, innovative ecological solutions, and excellence across architecture, landscape architecture, and urban design on an international scale.Hwang has been with Turenscape since 2011. Her works span China, Southeast Asia, Japan and Europe, and she has received numerous international accolades. Her portfolio includes key contributions to projects that have won ASLA Awards and multiple World Architecture Festival (WAF) Awards — notably the 2024 GROHE Water Prize (The Maotai Eco-Metaverse Project) and 2025 Landscape of the Year (Xingjiang River Ecological Corridor Project) — as well as the 2024 UIA 2030 Award, AZ Awards, Holcim Award, and ULI Excellence Award. Most recently, she has co-led the award-winning projects: Hami Pterosaur Museum, Benjakitti Forest Park, and Manila Bay Central Park.
