Denis Protasov

Background

Denis Sergeevich Protasov graduated from the Ural State University of Economics and began his professional career in the Office of the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region as an Assistant to the Chief of Staff of the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region. Having studied all the features and subtleties of the state civil service, in 2019 he became the head of the Department for interaction with subjects of public control, public organizations and the Cossacks of the Department of Internal Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region. Under the leadership of Denis Sergeevich, a large number of events and patriotic actions were organized and conducted. In parallel, in 2022, he completed his studies at the Ural Federal University named after the First President of Russia B.N. Yeltsin with a Master's degree in Youth Work Organization, which became an important stage (basis) for changing activities and moving into the field of youth policy. Since 2022, he has worked at the Ministry of Education and Youth Policy from head of the Department of Youth Projects, Monitoring and analysis of youth processes to Deputy Minister of Education and Youth Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region – Director of the Department of Youth Policy. In 2025, he became the head of the Department of Youth Policy of the Sverdlovsk Region. Thanks to Denis Sergeevich's work on the implementation of the state youth policy, more than 1,000 events were held for the youth of the Sverdlovsk region, as well as for specialists in youth work.
