Dmitry Konnov

Background

Dmitry Konnov is the Director of Product Development at Lartech Group, a company with over 30% annual growth specializing in the development of innovative IoT solutions and artificial intelligence systems. Under his leadership, a team of 6 people manages more than 50 products, including Russia's first AI-powered electricity meter, which won an international competition. Dmitry worked his way up from a junior specialist at Segnetics, where he rose to head of supply, production and design departments. He participated in the introduction of Russian solutions to the Moscow ventilation market during the 2008 crisis, when the company's sales increased 4 times in a month. In 2015, he founded an electronics contract development studio, where he worked with international clients, including projects in South Africa. Dmitry was also involved in the creation of medical products: together with his team, he came up with and found ways to implement the Nota mole tracker for cancer diagnosis devices. The project received Kickstarter funding, and the devices themselves were subsequently shipped to 30 countries around the world. Dmitry is a participant in major industry events: He was a speaker at the IV The Russian Telecommunications Summit 2025 and the IOT DAY 2023 conference. He also acts as a mentor for the younger generation — since 2024 he has been working as the chief architect of the Artificial Intelligence Center at St. Petersburg State University.
