As a geotechnical specialist, he provided support for laboratory and field soil testing, including the introduction of new testing methods.

Co-author of two patents: composite pile, screw pile for permafrost conditions.
Interests in related industries: geotechnical problems of archeology of the Northern Black Sea region and the Caucasus.
