Nikolay Gromov
Background
In 2004, he graduated from the Academy of Civil Protection of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, Faculty of Command and Engineering, specialty "Protection in emergency situations", qualification engineer for protection in emergency situations.
In 2004 — 2007, he studied at the adjunct faculty of the AGZ of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia, was engaged in experimental and theoretical research of easily ejectable anti-explosive structures. He conducted field and model experiments in laboratory conditions and on landfills. Performed numerical calculations of the parameters of easily removable structures.
Since 2007, he has been working in NRU MGSU.
Currently, he is the head of the Laboratory of "Gas Dynamics of Gorenje and explosion" of the Research Center "Explosion Safety".
Gromov N.V. is the author of more than 40 scientific and educational works, including the textbook "Emergency gas explosions in rooms".
Gromov N.V. was responsible for such projects as "Analysis of the impact of explosions of fuel-air mixtures formed during aircraft crashes on the safety of LNPP-2", "Analysis of the impact of explosions of fuel-air mixtures formed during aircraft crashes on the safety of power unit No. 5 Beloyarsk NPP".
