Background

Dmitry Poltorak is CEO of Lartech Group, a company with 30+% annual growth and one of the largest players in the Russian Internet of Things market with 3 million connected devices. Under his leadership, the project has grown from a startup to a team of 100+ people, which ensures the continuous expansion of the line of more than 50 products.Lartech is currently implementing projects for Rosseti, Rostelecom, Mosoblenergo and other federal companies. Dmitry's team presented Russia's first AI electricity metering device, which won an international competition, and also created and standardized the SPODES Lite protocol for transmitting meter data. Lartech is also the co-founder of ANO Smart Apartment Building and sets standards for communication and cryptographic protection for IoT devices.Lartech is not Dmitry's first successful startup scaling experience. In 2007, he became the co-founder of the Teleposition Project company, which in 9 years has grown from a team of a couple of people to a business with 100 employees and a turnover of almost 5 billion rubles. Earlier, while working at Tele2, Dmitry launched a GSM network in St. Petersburg and identified fraud for hundreds of thousands of dollars. After that, he was appointed head of Tele2's Revenue assurance division in Russia. Today, the combination of entrepreneurial experience and technical expertise allows Dmitry not only to develop a business, but also to form industry standards.
