Background
Mikhail Novinsky, architect-designer, co-founder of MNdesign Studio, member of the Union of Architects of Russia, graduate of Stroganov Russian State Pedagogical University with a degree in Interior Design.
Since 2003, he has been designing private and public interiors, as well as engaged in architectural design and object design. In 2010, together with Anastasia Konnova, he founded the MNdesign design studio.
Winner and nominee of Russian and international awards, including Interia Awards, Best Interior and Best Interior Festival (Union of Architects of Russia), Premium Living Award, Russian Project, Best Office Awards, etc. The studio's projects have been repeatedly published in reputable Russian and international media (AD Russia, Interior+Design, Elle Decoration, SALON-Interior, etc.), as well as included in the book Big Design for Small Workspaces by the international publisher Images Publishing Group. A regular participant in the TV programs "Apartment question" and "Country answer" on NTV. Speaker of the Russian Days of Design and Architecture project and other specialized events, member of the jury of Russian and international competitions.
Mikhail and his team implement projects mainly in modern styles: minimalism, contemporary, japandi, etc. Mikhail defines his approach to interior design as building a three-dimensional composition in which all design elements are interconnected and balanced. Special attention is paid to communication with the customer, the studio defines the interior as the materialization of the customer's inner world (or the social philosophy of the organization) by means of architecture and design.
The studio's portfolio includes dozens of projects and completed facilities in Russia, neighboring countries, Europe, Asia, and the USA. Among the studio's clients are Paulig AG, Mercedes-Benz Rus, Match Hospitality AG (for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo), FGC Leader, Castorama, OBI, Albione/MezzaTorre and others.
