Yuri Gotman
Background
From 2005 to 2008, he worked as a junior researcher at a leading civil engineering institute in Moscow. Ufa Bashkir Institute. During his work, he carried out the development of projects for Retaining walls during the reconstruction of Ufa railway station, a number of anti-landslide structures and monolithic reinforced concrete frames in Ufa.
In 2008, he moved to Moscow and joined the company "Underground Project" as a Senior Engineer. He performed design work at such facilities as the State Academic Bolshoi Theater of Russia (GABT), Moscow; the Alabyan-Baltiysky Tunnel, a two-level transport interchange near the Sokol metro station, Moscow; the Orlovsky Tunnel, St. Petersburg and many others.
Since 2013, he has been heading the company as CEO. During his work under the supervision of Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Academician Vyacheslav Alexandrovich Ilyichev, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Determining the optimal size of a soil-cement massif that reduces the movement of fences in deep pits" in 2011.
