Alex Bitus

Alex Bitus received a degree in Civil Engineering in 1997, and later became an Architect. He began his professional career in London as a senior designer in 2002.

Prior to founding Buro Bitus in 2020, Alex participated in the design of the competition-winning Lakhta Center project in St. Petersburg (Russia) and the Evolution Tower in Moscow City at RMJM (UK), the new Diamond building at the University of Sheffield (UK), as well as the design of transport terminals in Steels West and Finch West in Toronto (Canada) at the studio of Wil Alsop. Later, he participated in the design of the Waterfalls KAFD multipurpose complex project in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

In 2020, he founded the Buro Bitus design bureau, which unites studios in the UK, Russia and Cyprus, which specializes in designing unique buildings such as the Platov Airport Terminal (Rostov-on-Don), Novy Urengoy Airport Terminal, Atyrau Airport Terminal (Kazakhstan), the Koltsovo Airport terminal reconstruction project, multifunctional residential complexes. Clover Park and Guardians of the Urals, the Congress Center at Yekaterinburg-EXPO, the iMall shopping center in Perm, the Arctorium Arctic Development Center in Salekhard, and a number of other projects.
