Javad Eiraji

Background

Dr. Javad Eiraji is an award-winning architect, academician and president of TraMod ACADEMY, the world`s first international academy for studying interactions between Tradition and Modernity in architecture and design. He is also the CEO-Founder of Studio Eiraji, an architecture and design practice studio.

Dr. Eiraji is the former faculty member of Eskisehir Technical University (Faculty of Architecture & Design) in Eskisehir, Turkey and Head of Department of Architecture at Islamic Azad University and Head of office for research in architecture and design in Iran.

Javad`s main research and design area is on culture and identity in architecture, contemporary architecture, the interactions between tradition and modernity in architecture and design and his main question in his design and life process is how to keep the past beside today.

Javad Eiraji is also the winner and jury of different international design and architecture competitions and he is being invited as keynote speaker, jury and lecturer in different International events, conferences and awards.

Dr. Eiraji is also the director of International architecture and design award, TraMod AWARDS (The World`s First International Award on Interactions between Tradition and Modernity in Architecture & Design), which the world`s most important architects and designers from different countries are the member of grand jury panel in this international award. He is also the director and chair of ITMAD International conferences.
