Vladimir Ipatov

Background

Vladimir Ipatov is the Chief Architect and head of the Architectural Solutions department with more than 18 years of experience, specializes in integrated design and implementation of BIM, builds regulations for project teams to optimize costs and deadlines at commercial buildings; led teams of 25-30 people and ensured the release of documentation from the concept to the commissioning of facilities.

Since 2022, he has been heading the architectural unit at IBS Expertise: he has formed a department, organized a distributed team, introduced motivation, certification and training practices, makes key decisions on AR, conducts projects for PIK, Aeroplane and Rusal, Lingonberry, managing interdisciplinary coordination to reduce overwork, approvals and budget risks.

Previously, he worked at Metropolis, participated in the implementation of non-standard public facilities (Choreographic Academy and Opera and Ballet Theater in Sevastopol; reconstruction of the Primorskaya Hotel in Sochi), including the adaptation of international concepts to Russian standards.

At Semrén & Månsson, he was responsible for the release stages PD and RD and urban planning concepts of neighborhoods. The bureau is known for its approach, which considers architecture as a tool for social development: solutions should simultaneously enhance the value of the project for the developer and improve the quality of users' daily lives.
