Alexander Kalmbach

Alexander Kalmbakh is an engineer of the calculation department of JSC Giprostroymost Institute, Saint Petersburg, who has been working in the field of calculations and design of artificial structures for more than six years. He participated in the projects of the Shushary—Slavyanka tram line, the gas processing complex in Ust-Luga, the cable-stayed bridge bypassing Saratov and the high-speed railway.

Performs calculations in MIDAS Civil, develops calculation models, analyzes results, and prepares explanatory notes. Previously, he participated in the testing and development of the Strallan calculation software and wrote algorithmic scripts in a C-like language.

Develops automation of engineering calculations using Python, MIDAS API and AI agents: from software construction and model modification to verification of results and generation of calculation documentation.
