The ARCH-IDEA program is held annually and is based on the Clausura competition, which was first held in 2012. Every year, different types of territories are selected for a competitive task. This year, the program was divided into several stages. 80 contestants from Veliky Novgorod, Vladivostok, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Irkutsk, Kazan, Krasnoyarsk, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Orenburg, Penza, Rostov-on-Don, Samara, St. Petersburg, Tomsk, Tyumen, Chelyabinsk took part in the online educational stage. These are students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, as well as practicing young professionals.

Over the course of two weeks, participants took a course to help develop the concept of landscaping a pocket park, which was compiled by experts and representatives of design organizations. Among the landscaping concepts proposed by the participants, the best works were selected, the authors of which joined 5 teams and will present the final concepts at the clausura competition at the end of the program.
