One of the main trends in the formation of the urban environment today is the abandonment of a personal car and the transition to public transport and means of individual mobility. The concept of a five-minute city is also popular among architects and urban planners. And both of these trends have one thing in common - the role of high-quality and comfortable pedestrian infrastructure for their implementation and success.
It is an indisputable fact: the distance from the house to the parking lot and from the parking lot at the end of the route to the destination, from the house to the public transport stop and from it to the point of arrival, and in some cases the entire path of a person passes along the sidewalk.
Pedestrian infrastructure plays an important role in the convenience of using the city and comfort for residents and tourists, this fact is reflected in the Urban Environment Quality Index, developed in order to implement the provisions of the national project "Housing and Urban environment".
The session will be attended by experts who have extensive experience in the development and implementation of projects aimed at improving the comfort and convenience of pedestrian infrastructure, as well as manufacturers of modern building materials for its creation.
