ARCH IS THE IDEA OF 2022. Development of the concept of conservation and development of the territory of the social city of Uralmash

ARCH-IDEA is an educational and competitive program that aims to explore significant urban spaces and develop landscaping concepts. The competition was founded by the Union of Architects of Russia and has been held annually in the format of a clausura (for-sketch) since 2012. Since 2021, ARCH IDEA has been not only a concept competition, but also an innovative educational platform aimed at developing modern forms of communication between people, for the exchange of experiences and ideas.

The main task of ARCH-IDEA is to develop concepts of architectural and planning solutions for the territories of the city of Yekaterinburg, detailed planning of a comfortable environment of the city's public spaces, in the course of polymodal communications between members of the architectural community and citizens.

The ARCH-IDEA educational and competitive program is organized by the Union of Architects of the Sverdlovsk Region and the Youth Association of the Union of Architects of the Sverdlovsk Region with the support of the Ural Chamber of Architects, together with the International Forum and Exhibition 100+ TechnoBuild, the Yekaterinburg City Administration and the Ural Architectural and Art University named after N.S.Alferov.
