Ural Federal University
— the largest federal university in Russia, established on the basis of the oldest universities in the Urals — UGTU-UPI and USU.
Over its 90-year history, more than 300,000 graduates have been trained. The University holds leading positions not only in the Urals, but also in Russia. No domestic university offers such a large number of training courses for applicants. In terms of the number of applications submitted by applicants in 2013 (2,020), UrFU set a record.
Ural Federal University is also the first among all Russian universities in terms of the number of students.
