Association of self-regulating organization "Guild of Builders of the Urals"

It was registered as an NGO with the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation in 2008, and in December 2009 it was entered into the State Register of Self-Regulatory Organizations by the Federal Service for Environmental, Technological and Nuclear Supervision (Rostechnadzor) and received the official status of an SRO. The registration number is SRO-S-103-07122009. He is a member of the National Association of Builders (NOSTROI).

The Guild of Builders of the Urals is the largest self-regulatory organization in the Ural Federal District in the field of construction, whose history began in 2004 on the basis of the Non-profit Public Association Association of Builders of Yekaterinburg (ACE).

The Association unites more than 200 construction organizations in Yekaterinburg and the Sverdlovsk region. More than 80% of the capital construction facilities in Yekaterinburg are built by organizations that are part of the SRO.

Today, the Ural Builders Guild is, without exaggeration, an influential public organization in the Urals, which guarantees the safety of all operations, compliance with building codes and regulations, as well as contractor responsibility, and is an effective guide between the construction community and the authorities.

The Guild of Builders of the Urals provides comprehensive assistance to the professional activities of SRO members engaged in the construction industry.

The main objectives of the Association are to improve the quality of work performed in the field of construction and to prevent harm caused by the shortcomings of such work. The main principle of the Association is to build trusting relationships based on the principles of transparency and openness. Specialists are always ready to provide comprehensive assistance to SRO member organizations on the preparation of documents for membership in SRO, organization of training (advanced training and certification), as well as in legal and legal issues arising in the course of their activities.

With the direct active participation of the Ural Builders Guild, amendments have been initiated and the adoption of regional and federal regulations aimed at reducing administrative barriers and improving the investment climate in the construction sector is being ensured.

The member organizations of the Association have the opportunity to complete training and retraining courses at the Ural University of Railways, receive relevant advice on legal, economic and technological issues from SRO experts, participate in seminars, workshops, conferences, exhibitions organized by the Association.

In 2011, the Association's activities were highly appreciated and it was the first among self-regulatory organizations in Russia to be awarded a Certificate of Honor from the National Association of Builders. The Association is also the initiator and co-organizer of mass and socially significant events promoting the construction profession.

Since 2012, it has been compiling a quarterly rating of bona fide contractors both among SRO members and among the city's construction companies that are not members of the Association. The purpose of the event is to increase the responsibility, performance discipline and quality of work of contractors involved in the construction, reconstruction and overhaul of facilities in Yekaterinburg, as well as to promote the best of them in the construction market of the city. Moreover, the rating is formed by the builders themselves: an anonymous survey is conducted among the largest general contractors and developers of the city.

The rating of bona fide contractors, regularly compiled by ASRO "Guild of Builders of the Urals", allowed us to form a list of worthy representatives of the construction industry in the city and region, which can be useful not only to professionals, but also to ordinary citizens. One of the traditional and popular events in the capital of the Urals was the annual celebration of Builder's Day. Preparations for the professional holiday include a number of events in which the Guild of Builders of the Urals participates. This is the annual national competition "Stroymaster" for the title of the best in the profession among construction specialties, as well as the competition "Praise the man of labor." With the active participation of the Association, the city sports contest of builders and the beauty contest among the employees of the construction companies "Mrs. Stroykomplex" are being held. A citywide celebration in honor of the Builder's Day is taking place in the Central Park of Culture and Recreation named after V.V. Mayakovsky. In 2016, more than 50,000 people attended the festivities. On this day, not only builders, but also citizens gather in the central city park. On the main stage, the best in the profession are honored, awards are presented to the winners of the Spartakiad, and gifts are given to the charming finalists of Mrs. Stroykomplex. Valuable prizes, cars and certificates for the purchase of an apartment are being raffled off among the guests of the holiday.

The Guild of Builders of the Urals has been one of the organizers of the International Forum of High-rise and Unique Construction 100+ Forum Russia since 2014.
