NIISF RAASN

Today, the Federal State Budgetary Budgetary Institution NIISF RAASN is the only state scientific budgetary institute in the Russian Federation engaged in fundamental research in the field of construction. The Institute has a unique scientific and experimental base that has no analogues in our country and abroad and includes climatic and acoustic chambers, stands and other equipment for modeling acoustic, dynamic, temperature, humidity and other impacts on building structures and their elements.

The scientific staff of the National Research Institute of Physics and Technology of the Russian Academy of Sciences is unique. The Institute currently employs 1 State Prize winner and 25 Russian Government Prize winners in the field of science and technology, 4 academicians of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, 4 corresponding members of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, 16 Doctors of Technical Sciences, and more than 50 candidates of technical Sciences.

In 2017, the "University of the Ministry of Construction" appeared in the structure of the institute, which retrains engineering specialists for the construction industry, including in "digital technologies", according to additional professional education programs. More than 2,000 people have successfully completed retraining at the Institute of Physics and Technology.
