Juliette Jiang: how Sky City is being built in China
On October 4, at 9:30 a.m., Juliette Jiang, Senior Vice President of BROAD Group, will deliver the only lecture at the High-rise and Unique Construction Forum in the 100+ Education Lecture Hall.
Using the example of the construction of the J57 Mini Sky City building, Ms. Jiang will talk about the high-speed construction of skyscrapers in China. The company built this 57-storey skyscraper with an area of 180 thousand square meters in 2015 in 19 days. The high-rise was assembled from ready-made blocks, three floors were built per day. The building houses apartments and offices.
In 2014, Ms. Jiang represented BROAD Group at the first high-rise and Unique Construction Forum in Yekaterinburg. She presented a project for the construction of the tallest building in the world - Sky City, an 838-meter skyscraper. Sky City will surpass the Burj Khalifa, the famous tower in Dubai, by 10 meters in height. The company announced that the construction process will take only three months. The implementation of this project has been postponed indefinitely.
BROAD Group specializes in accelerated construction of energy efficient, environmentally friendly and economical buildings, including skyscrapers. For example, in 2010, Chinese specialists built the 6-storey Broad Pavillion building at the Shanghai Expo International exhibition within 24 hours. Without stopping there, the BROAD Group built two more buildings in record time - the 15-storey Ark Hotel in six days and the 30-storey T-30 Hotel in fifteen days.
Admission to the lecture is free for the participants of the 100+ Forum Russia and visitors to the exhibition.
