Green certification of skyscrapers

Meeting of the thematic section "Green high-rise construction. Energy-efficient Skyscraper" will be conducted by Guy Eames, General Director of the Council for Environmental Construction in Russia. He personally confirmed that he will be a moderator. The reports of the participants of the round table will cover many topics of "green" construction, from environmental design to the introduction of energy-efficient technologies. Mr. Eames is one of the leading specialists in environmental construction, with twenty years of experience working in major companies not only abroad, but also in Russia.

"Green" construction technologies in Russia were developed not so long ago, but they quickly found their application, primarily in high-rise construction. The Severnaya Tower (27 floors, 108 m) received an environmental certificate at the Moscow City Exhibition Center, and the Lakhta Center project (462 m) became one of the pioneers of green construction in St. Petersburg. During his visit to Yekaterinburg in May this year, Guy Eames noted that the capital of the Urals has great potential in ecocertification. The city already has the first facility that is certified according to the Green Zoom standard - the Patrushikhinsky Ponds Integrated Development project. One of the high-rise office buildings in the city, the President Business Center (20 floors, 82 meters), is preparing to receive an environmental certificate.

The Council for Ecological Construction in Russia (RuGBC), the largest association in the field of "green" construction in the country, unites over 230 Russian and international companies. RuGBC's activities are aimed at the development of ecological construction and the implementation of Russian and international standards.
