The X International Construction Forum and the 100+ TechnoBuild exhibition were attended by over 25 thousand people

The anniversary International Construction Forum and the 100+ TechnoBuild Exhibition has completed its work in Yekaterinburg. The event was attended by a record 25,000 people. Compared to last year, the number of participants has increased by a third, and in the ten years of the event's existence — by 25 times. The number of exhibitors has increased 50 times over the years, and the number of sessions has increased five times.

"This year, 100+ TechnoBuild has made an incredible quantitative and qualitative leap. We have grown to 500 exhibitors and 900 speakers. We planned to approach the level of 25,000 registrations, and now I can say with full confidence that we have crossed this threshold," said Vera Belous, head of the 100+ TechnoBuild working group.

The theme of the tenth forum and exhibition was "Building Humanity" as a reflection of the construction industry's priority to improve people's quality of life. According to Vera Belous, the participants of both the exhibition and the business part picked up on this topic. For example, an urban park with live trees, outdoor sculptures, exercise equipment, a playground and other facilities was recreated in one of the pavilions. A design cluster has grown, and a lighting cluster has been introduced for the first time.

Within the framework of the forum, sessions were held on a comfortable urban environment, "green" construction, and urban development in general. The central event was a plenary session with the participation of the head of the Ministry of Construction of Russia Irek Fayzullin. According to him, almost 79 million square meters have been commissioned in the country since the beginning of the year. m of housing, another 150 million square meters. They are under construction, and in ten years almost 840 million m2 have been built in Russia. According to the minister, the volume of construction in Russia will increase in the coming years.

In addition to events related to "building humanity", the business program included sessions on technology and design features. "We still take care of our core - the engineering part of design and construction, about 60% of the business program is devoted to this. But everything related to a comfortable environment and cities of the future has become an integral part of our forum and exhibition," Vera Belous emphasized.

Vyacheslav Trapeznikov, co-founder of 100+ TechnoBuild, speaking at the plenary session, recalled that in 2014, when the first forum was held, the industry faced an urgent need to develop regulatory documentation for buildings above one hundred meters. "Hence the name, the skyscraper Forum. Now it has become the largest profile event in Russia," Trapeznikov emphasized.

At one time, Russia's first 3D printer was presented at the forum, as well as iconic buildings and structures such as the Lakhta Center, the Crimean Bridge and others.

The future of 100+ TechnoBuild has been determined for the coming years: the Ministry of Construction of Russia and the government of the Sverdlovsk Region have signed a five-year cooperation agreement on the organization of the forum and exhibition. "This gives us confidence in the future and that the event will grow and develop," Vera Belous added.
