The relationship between planning parameters and scenarios of transport policy

A presentation by Mikhail Blinkin, Director of the Institute of Transport Economics and Transport Policy, has been added to the collection of forum materials.

This year, at the forum, as part of a thematic session on the development of modern urbanized territories and cities, an ordinary professor at the Higher School of Economics made a presentation on the topic "The relationship between planning parameters and scenarios of transport policy." In his message, the author noted that the search for adequate strategies for adapting the city to the mass car, or, conversely, adapting the mass transport behavior of citizens to the possibilities of the city, has been going on for more than a hundred years. M. Blinkin's report examines in detail the options for comprehensive measures to solve the problem of interaction between pedestrians and motorists, which is relevant for all megacities.

Mikhail Blinkin took part in the 100+ Forum Russia for the first time, he highly appreciated the level of the event and especially emphasized that it was attended by a very interested audience: "I attend many forums as in Both in Russia and abroad, but such an extensive, young, and interested audience is a clear advantage of the Yekaterinburg forum."
