All 100+ Forum Russia events are sold out.
The business program of the second day of the International High-Rise and Unique Construction Forum 100+ Forum Russia focused on the maximum number of events interesting to both a wide audience and professionals.
At the round table "The World Underground. Underground construction as a key to the effective functioning of the urban environment", all speakers noted the importance of discussing "underground" topics at the forum, and the relevance for Russia
not only coordination and planning of aboveground and underground buildings in cities, but also legal support for these activities, as well as the application of the Law of the Russian Federation "On Subsoil", which, according to the speakers, is overdue for relevant amendments.
The Lakhta Center facility session, moderated by Sergey Nikiforov, Chief Engineer of the project, aroused great interest from the professional community. The speakers' reports covered both general information about this St. Petersburg business center under construction and highly professional topics. So, the listeners had the most questions to Andreas Bachmann, who talked about the use of unique cold-rolled glass enclosing structures in the Lakhta Center.
An open lecture by one of the most distinguished guests of the forum, Christos Passas, Executive Director of Zaha Hadid Architects, was perhaps the most numerous event of the forum. There were so many listeners of the "creative heir" of the legendary Zaha Hadid that there was literally nowhere to fall in the hall.
The guests and delegates of the forum showed no less interest in the topics of the round table "Legal regulation of the architectural and urban appearance of capital construction facilities". Alexey Belyshev, Deputy Head of the Yekaterinburg City Administration for Capital Construction and Land Use, Timur Abdullaev, Chief architect of the city, Vladimir Veniaminov, Chief Architect of the Sverdlovsk Region and others took part in the discussion.
Specialists were also greatly interested in the round table "Fire safety of high-rise buildings and unique industrial facilities" and a seminar on the implementation of Federal Law No. 372-FZ.
The result of the second day of the 100+ Forum Russia was the awarding of the winners of the architectural competition for the construction of Yekaterinburg City. The first prize — 500 thousand rubles — was awarded to the architectural bureau from Ulyanovsk with the project "Copper Mountain", inspired by Bazhov's fairy tales.
