Vladimir Travush took part in pouring the foundation of the Lakhta Center

Vladimir Ilyich readily responded to the offer to participate in the pouring of the foundation slab and was on duty at the site during the last weekend in February, thereby contributing to the construction of the Lakhta Center. Previously, he also acted as one of the designers of this unique project.

Without exaggeration, world–class star Vladimir Ilyich Travush is an academician, Vice President of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, professor, one of the authors of the 540-meter Ostankino TV Tower in Moscow, chief designer of the project for its restoration and modernization after the fire, chief designer of the Moscow City business center, author of several hundred scientific papers and copyright certificates, 70 projects, of which 30 are implemented.

At the 100+ Forum Russia 2014, Vladimir Ilyich Travush made a presentation as part of the panel discussion "Tower of the Future. Challenges of high-rise construction". The designer shared his professional experience and voiced the problems he had to face when implementing projects.

V. I. Travush spoke about the specifics of high-rise construction in an interview after pouring the foundation of the Lakhta Center. The designer compares the construction of skyscrapers with a submarine, put "on its ass": "That is, all the same problems: dissection into compartments, pressure difference, evacuation - all these are problems of a high-rise building."
