In the Year of the Theater, the 100+ Forum Russia will talk about modern technologies for the construction of theaters and concert halls
Oleg Shapiro, co-founder of the architectural bureau Wowhaus, co-author of the first and iconic public spaces in Moscow and Russia — Stanislavsky Electrotheatre, Krymskaya Embankment, Gorky Park, Strelka Institute of Media, Architecture and Design.
Ruben Arakelyan, head of the WALL Architectural bureau, which has developed more than 100 projects, including iconic public spaces for Moscow, will share his experience in reconstructing Soviet modernist buildings.
During the meeting, the engineering solutions of the multifunctional cinema and concert hall "Moscow City" will be studied in detail. Sergey Shorokhov, head of the M.K.3 design bureau, will talk in detail about the technical innovations applied in the 10-storey building in the Moscow City complex. It is a modern entertainment complex with a high-tech transformable hall with the possibility of holding concerts, shows, festivals, celebrations, ceremonies, performances, exhibitions, conferences, presentations, sports events and various educational programs.
Anatoly Livshits, President of Acoustic Group, the author of inventions in the field of sound insulation, will speak at the session with the report "The city begins with theater, and the country begins with music." He led a team of acoustics during the construction and reconstruction of the halls of the Moscow Conservatory, the Helikon Opera, the Theater of Nations in Moscow, the Saransk Opera House, and the Philharmonic halls in Penza and Tula, Bashkortostan Concert Hall in Ufa and others.
A report by Kümmel Jorg, the leading designer and architect of Müller-BBM GmbH, will be dedicated to the UMMC Touring Theater.
The thematic session "Theaters and Concert Halls of Russia" will be held on October 30 at 4:30 p.m., hosted by Maxim Putintsev, editor-in-chief of Echo of Moscow in Yekaterinburg.
