The forum part of 100+ TechnoBuild will discuss import substitution, the prospects of the construction industry and interior design

This year, the business program of the International Construction Forum and the TechnoBuild 100+ Exhibition will be the widest in its history. The organizers plan to hold more than 130 sections, including six one-day forums. In total, over 550 speakers will speak. For the first time, the event will run for four days – from October 18 to October 21 in Yekaterinburg-Expo.

The key theme of the 100+ in 2022 is "Building the Future. New opportunities." The basis of the forum will remain – it is the design, construction and operation of unique buildings and structures for any purpose, energy efficiency and safety, "green" construction, innovative materials and technologies, BIM design. However, new directions will be added in accordance with the challenges of the times.

Much attention in the business program will be paid to the issues of import substitution in construction, several sections will be devoted to the local production of materials and technologies. The forum will also discuss the restoration of territories, prefabricated and modular construction, and a comfortable urban environment.

For the first time, a Forum of interior Designers will appear in the business program, where they will discuss the ability of domestic manufacturers to replace foreign brands. Participants will be able to immediately evaluate Russian manufacturers in business: there will be an exhibition nearby, decorated in the form of large objects with ready-made interiors, as well as a competition of masters of finishing works.

A significant part of the program will be occupied by the Wooden Construction Forum. This year, a pilot project for the construction of apartment buildings made of CLT panels was launched in the Vologda Region, and experts will summarize the first results, assess the prospects for such construction, and generally talk about the market, which has shown steady growth over the past few years.

The Arch-Eurasia Forum, the Building Climate Forum, and the Interconstroy 2022 International Forum of Construction Designers and Calculation Engineers will also traditionally be held as part of the business program.

The final fourth day will be devoted to training seminars for industry specialists. The Ural TEAM Readings and the BIM Talent Fair will take place, where construction companies will be able to compete for the most promising personnel among Russian students and young professionals.

Great attention will be paid to the topics of the region. For example, the construction of the Sukhoi Port in the Sverdlovsk Region, one of the largest logistics centers in Russia, and a campus that should turn the Sverdlovsk Region into the country's student capital, will be discussed.

As always, builders, architects, designers, representatives of government, scientific and business communities will take part in the sessions, which will allow us to consider issues from all sides and immediately outline plans for bringing ideas to life.
