Yekaterinburg will design new lighting for Moscow and show an intelligent system for organizing passenger traffic in elevators.
An exhibition of the latest achievements and technologies in construction 100+ Technologies will be held in Yekaterinburg from December 5-7 as part of the International Forum of High-rise and Unique Construction 100+ Forum Russia. Innovative materials and technologies for the construction of modern unique facilities will be presented here.
"The exhibition traditionally attracts the attention of key market players – last year we gathered 86 exhibitors and more than 6,000 visitors. This is an effective platform for professionals interested in concrete results, a place for constructive dialogue with government and business representatives, Russian and foreign experts, exchange of experience and contacts, negotiations and presentations," says Vera Belous, head of the forum organizing committee working group.
What can we expect from 100+ Technologies this year? Technological breakthroughs in the industry – from innovative materials to unique design and construction methods. The largest Russian and foreign enterprises in Europe, America, the Middle East and the Far East are among the exhibitors.
The key areas of 100+ Technologies are modern materials, architectural lighting, construction machinery, development, architecture and urban planning, innovative equipment, BIM and digital technologies.
For the first time in the Ural region, the Rokra Peiner System (Syktyvkar) company will be represented – the only one in Russia that uses an internal unique tower crane height increase system. "Our system reduces the cost and speeds up the crane installation process, leads to savings during its transportation and is as safe as possible," the company notes. The Chelyabinsk Elevator Building Plant WITCHEL will show its innovative developments, in particular, an intelligent and energy–efficient system for organizing passenger traffic in buildings with a large number of elevators.
The organizers plan to surprise the professionals and demonstrate the latest technologies in action in an accessible way. Thus, the most recognizable architectural profiles of Russian cities will receive a new interpretation. Developers of architectural lighting concepts will offer their vision of nighttime Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk and Vladivostok.
"We want to create a gallery of large-scale bas-reliefs from iconic objects of these cities and show in a new way the Stalin skyscrapers, the Moscow State University, the Kremlin towers ensemble, St. Isaac's Cathedral, the Admiralty, the palace complexes of St. Petersburg, the Lakhta Center, the Novosibirsk Opera House and the bridges of Vladivostok. We plan to present Yekaterinburg with a relief of iconic constructivist objects: the Iset Hotel and the White Tower, as well as show the buildings of the circus, the Opera and Ballet Theater, the project of the world–famous British architect Norman Foster, the headquarters of the RMK company. At 100+ Technologies, our exhibitors will be able to offer the most ambitious projects for lighting the capital and key cities of Russia," Vera Belous emphasized.
The best realized projects for lighting the cities of the world will be presented in the photo gallery of the exhibition. The exhibition will imitate a city avenue along which it will be possible to travel from one country to another.
At the exhibition in Yekaterinburg, one can see an operating model of a landscape wind tunnel, in which the main bridges of the country are tested for strength – hurricanes, earthquakes and tsunamis are simulated here. Well-known marine facilities and other unique structures will undergo wave and wind loads and seismic resistance testing.
Automated management models for stadiums, airports and entire cities will demonstrate the work of artificial intelligence and the use of BIM technologies in daily operation and in emergency situations. In particular, the digital modeling section will host a presentation of a BIM model of garbage disposal in a modern metropolis. Smart city technologies with automation of urban infrastructure management will be presented using the example of Singapore.
Among the exhibitors of the exhibition are the Urban Design Institute of Residential and Public Buildings (projects – IFC Lakhta Center, IFC Akhmat Tower, IFC Federation and other key high–rise facilities in Russia), Krylov State Scientific Center, the largest Russian manufacturer of crane manipulator installations INMAN, which is part of the the Austrian PALFINGER concern, the Weiss Group, a developer of lighting equipment and media facades, and other Russian and foreign companies.
The 100+ Technologies exhibition opens up new prospects for the construction industry of the Sverdlovsk region and the Ural region: "Last year's experience clearly demonstrated the need to hold an exhibition of technologies and materials within the framework of 100+ForumRussia. This format has a positive impact on the development of the construction industry in the Sverdlovsk region as a whole, which is confirmed by the contracts signed there between Russian and foreign companies. The territory of the Sverdlovsk region is attractive for hosting high-tech industries in the construction sector. Our region has every chance to become a center of innovative competencies in the Russian Federation," said Mikhail Volkov, Minister of Construction and Infrastructure Development of the Sverdlovsk Region.
Applications for participation in the exhibition are accepted until November 15, 2018.
