UMMC presents new Yekaterinburg City project at 100+ Forum Russia

The presentation of the project will take place at the Hyatt Hotel. The time of the event is 13.00-14.00. Sergey Yerypalov, Director of Capital Construction and Investments at UMMC, will make an introductory speech. He will tell you on what principles the new project of the quarter was formed as the dominant urban planning element.

The project will be presented directly by its developers, world–renowned architects Helmut Jan (head of the JAHN workshop) and Werner Sobek (author of the Iset Tower, head of the architectural bureau Werner Sobek Ingenieure). Andrey Bokov, President of the Union of Architects of Russia, will also make a presentation.

It should be recalled that according to the initial project, Yekaterinburg City should combine more than 400 square meters of commercial and retail space, offices, hotels, entertainment centers, cafes and restaurants. According to the plans, the quarter was supposed to consist of about a dozen objects. Of these, only the Hyatt Regency Hotel has been fully built. Next up is the 209–meter-high Iset Tower, which, after completion of construction, will become the tallest building in Yekaterinburg.

The construction of the Demidov Plaza multifunctional center is also ongoing. There will be a congress hall, office space, shops, cinemas, cafes and restaurants. In addition, the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Center will appear in Demidov Plaza. Both facilities will be commissioned in 2015.
