UMMC-Holding will reveal the concept of the Yekaterinburg City project

On July 11, 2014, a discussion "High–rise construction in Russia - a driver of industrial growth in the regions" will be held in Yekaterinburg. The event will be held within the framework of the International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM-2014 at the stand of the Yekaterinburg City Administration. The discussion will be organized by the organizing committee of the 100+ ForumRussia Skyscraper Forum, which will be held in the Ural capital on September 24-26, 2014.

One of the main topics of the meeting will be the discussion of the formation of the new Yekaterinburg City business center as a dominant urban planning element and a factor in increasing the economic potential of the entire Ural region. Sergey Yerypalov, Director of Capital Construction and Investments at UMMC-Holding LLC, will tell the details of the future project.

Yekaterinburg City is a large-scale project to build a business district in the square of Chelyuskintsev, October Revolution, February Revolution, and Combat Squads streets. In the future, UMMC-Holding will build about 400,000 square meters of real estate here. The first facility within Yekaterinburg City, the Iset Tower, will be commissioned in the first quarter of 2015. This building will become the tallest in the Urals and Siberia, surpassing all previous skyscrapers.

Another significant topic of discussion will be high-rise construction in a complex urban development using the example of London. Martin Powell, the former chief environmental adviser to the current mayor of London, will share his European experience with Ural builders. Today he is the head of the Urban development Department at the Expert Consulting Center "Kristall" of the Siemens company. In Europe, Martin is known as an expert on topics such as cities of the future and economic models that could be a comprehensive solution for modern cities.

In addition, as part of the discussion, Vyacheslav Trapeznikov, head of the organizing committee of the 100+ ForumRussia Skyscraper Forum, will present a roadmap for high-rise construction in Russia.
