Study or vacation? Projects of schools, campuses and resorts will be discussed at 100+ TechnoBuild

September 1 is perceived differently by everyone: some consider this day to be the beginning of the academic or business season, and they are preparing for lineups and meetings. Others seek to prolong the summer and choose a resort vacation. 100+ Technobuild will discuss architecture for both directions: four sessions of the business program will be devoted to modern schools, campuses and recreational facilities.

So, on September 30, the session "Architecture of Knowledge: a space that teaches" will be held at the stand of the Sverdlovsk region. Architects specializing in the design of schools and educational institutions will take part in the discussion: Sergey Ostroukh (IMAGO, Moscow), Vladislav Kalinina (akvk+partners, Moscow), Alexandra Shevtsova (Giprocommuntrans Design Institute, Voronezh), Nikolai Faneev (IND, Moscow). They will talk about the most unusual school projects: large-scale and compact, for Helsinki, Blagoveshchensk, Burabay, inscribed in the architecture of residential complexes and in the landscape with a bias. Andrey Gnezdilov, co-founder of the Ostozhenka Architectural Bureau and one of Russia's most decorated architects, will summarize and summarize the best Russian solutions for educational spaces.

On the same day at the session "Recreation: how it's done", the architects will consider resort projects for Russian territories. The emphasis is on non-standard solutions, impressive design, and versatility. The discussion will be supported by Sergey Belan (B2BArchitects, St. Petersburg), Sergey Markov (A4 Bureau, Moscow), Tateos Bardakhchiev (Open Architecture Workshop) and other well-known authors. The moderator will be the host of the Russian program "Heads and Tails" Anton Zaitsev.

The sanatorium-resort agenda is returning to the Russian reality rapidly:  The fashion for wellness holidays has captured not only the older generation, but also the youth, and the average domestic tourist flow in the country has grown by 40% in three years. According to SberAnalytics, the Leningrad Region (+76.9%), Moscow (+71.8%) and Sverdlovsk Region (+69.6%) showed the most significant increase in tourist traffic since 2021.

Also, on September 30, UMMC, the Developer, will hold a session on "Development of ski resorts through CRT mechanisms."

"University campuses: from architectural concept to implementation" is the theme of the October 1 session: architects will present projects for Perm, Kaliningrad, and Yekaterinburg.
